UniVerso + C2C Festival present:
UNIVERSO ╱ SPIME.IM [Site-specific installation and live A/V]

UNIVERSO╱SPIME.IM is the new work by multimedia collective spime.im: an immersive experience expressed in the form of a performance and multi-screen installation.
Beginning with images from the James Webb Space Telescope, the first in history to show galaxies and nebulae in great detail, spime.im collective investigate the limits of anthropocentrism in a multimedia stream that exploit various video processing techniques and in which the sound feature a chorus score extrapolated from climate changes datasets analysis.
[The event is included in the programming of “UniVerso – A permanent observatory on contemporaneity” of the University of Turin, in collaboration with C2C Festival, introduced by Davide Gandolfi, professor of Astrophysics at the Department of Physics, University of Turin].
